In addition to the academic structure of DCIS outlined here, students at DCIS are able to attend cultural events and performances held at DCIS–many of which occur during school hours. These performances have the effect of bringing a wide variety of cultural experiences to DCIS students, and further enrich their education in pursuit of the four domains (Investigate the World, Recognize Perspectives, Take Action, and Communicate Ideas).
