Help your school by surfing the web!
More than 900 of the top Internet retailers and travel sites including Amazon, eBay, Target, Apple, Expedia, and more have joined forces with GoodShop.com to donate part of every purchase to your favorite charity or school at no additional cost to you (more than 72,000 nonprofits are now on board)!
It takes just a few seconds!
- Go to www.goodshop.com.
- Click Choose your cause (at the top, under the Search box).
- Type Denver Center for International Studies, and then click Verify.
- Click through to your favorite store and shop as usual.
Also, Yahoo has teamed up with GoodShop’s sister site, GoodSearch.com, to donate about a penny to your cause every time you search the web. This is totally free, as the money comes from advertisers.
To give you a sense of how the money can add up, the ASPCA has already earned more than $46,000!
Did you know that DCIS has its own newspaper? You can keep The Phoenix alive by subscribing, buying an ad, or convincing a community business to buy an ad. Download these forms, complete them, and put them in Ms. Rivera’s mailbox.
If you have any questions, please contact the newspaper at firstname.lastname@example.org.
