Parent-Teacher Conferences

Parent-teacher conferences take place in the fall and the spring. The fall conferences provide parents with an introduction to their student’s classes and teachers. Because the time in each classroom is limited and typically numerous parents want to meet and talk with the teachers, we ask that you reserve specific questions pertaining to your child for a time when you can meet with the teacher(s) individually (see below).

The spring conferences are student-led with the advisor, during which the student talks about how they’re doing in each class, what they’re proud of, where they could improve and so on.

Families who wish to meet with individual teachers throughout the year to discuss specific needs and concerns can schedule one-on-one appointments anytime directly with those teachers. Check the staff directory to learn which method of communication those teachers prefer, and please allow 48 hours for the teachers to get back to you.

Conference dates will be announced in the school newsletter, on the website and in various other media a few weeks before they take place, and parents will be able to sign up online in whatever time slot works best for them. Keep in mind that the earlier you sign up, the more likely you are to get your preferred time.
