Derrick Nevarrez

Derrick Nevarrez is from Denver, Colorado. Mr. Nevarrez always puts students first. He truly cares about all of his students and wants them to thrive in life outside of the classroom. Mr. Nevarrez attended DPS schools and grew up in southwest Denver. Mr. Nevarrez has completed all of his education on the Auraria campus. He has a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics from MSU Denver, a Masters in Math Education from CU Denver and is currently pursuing his doctorate in Leadership with an emphasis in Math equity at CU Denver.

Outside is school Mr. Nevarrez enjoys coaching football, basketball, and baseball. He enjoys running, hiking and backpacking as well!
