Attendance Updates🚀

Help Us Hit 93%!We are currently at 86% attendance, but we know we can reach our goal of 93% with your help.

The Game Plan: To ensure no student falls behind, we are increasing our support. If your student misses 2+ days in a single week, expect a friendly check-in from our Attendance Team via phone or home visit. We want to solve problems together!

📞 Keep Us in the Loop: If your student must be absent, please leave a voicemail at 720-423-9101 with: Student Name & ID Grade Level & Reason for absence. Cell Phone Policy Classrooms are phone-free zones. Students must place cell phones and earbuds in the designated classroom box immediately upon entering.

Supporting Student Attendance & Safety At DCIS MS, we are committed to ensuring a safe and focused learning environment. Recently, we’ve noted an increase in students missing class, particularly during club times.

To support our students in staying on track, we are implementing the following attendance protocol:
Daily Support:
We will conduct random hallway checks throughout the day. Students found skipping class:
1st & 2nd Offense:
Lunch Reset; families will be notified via phone and email.
3rd Offense:
Family meeting to create a formal Attendance Agreement.
4th & 5th Offense:
Progressing to In-School Suspension (ISS), Saturday School, or Out-of-School Suspension. We appreciate your partnership in helping our students make the most of their instructional time. If you have questions, please contact us at 720-423-9000.
