DCIS FAFSA Workshop – Monday, November 1, 2021 from 4:30-6:30 PM

Posted October 26, 2021

Who: Parents of Seniors and Seniors! Please join us in a workshop to assist in completing Your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This is a strongly recommended form to complete for any student with plans to attend a 2 year, 4 year, trade or technical school after graduation. FAFSA will help award financial aid in the areas of Grants, Workstudy, Loans and Scholarships.

What: We will have specialists on site to assist with families on completing this application. They will be able to help answer questions around who, what, where and how to complete this application based on various needs of different families.

What to Bring:

If you plan to attend please complete the following prior to November 1, 2021:

  1. Both Parent and student should create an FSA ID . This information is provided in this link. Until this ID is created, you will not be able to start the application process. This could take up to 2 days to receive the ID.
  2. Gather your 2020 filed tax return information. This is the main data that will be used to fill out the FAFSA.
  3. We will have chromebooks available, but if you have your own laptop please feel free to bring that with you.

We look forward to assisting you and your Senior in this process!!
