6th Grade Academy 2023

Sixth Grade Academy is a chance for incoming 6th graders to get a head start on their middle school journey!

The academy will consist of four half days where students will have the opportunity to learn about:

• The DCIS Core Values
• The DCIS Global Domains
• DCIS Service Projects
• Portfolio requirements
• Travel Opportunities
• Clubs, sports and opportunities to engage with the DCIS community
• School systems, routines and procedures
• Academic expectations and class schedules
• Digital Citizenship
• Restorative practices
• Their 6th grade peers and teachers!

Date: August 7-10, 2023 from 8am-12pm

Location: DCIS.
