This is a reminder about an amazing ‘bridge experience’ to support rising ninth graders in feeling prepared, supported, and energized for entering high school. If you have NOT yet signed up for this experience that will occur Monday through Thursday the weeks of July 19th, July 26th, and August 2nd please do so HERE. If you have already signed up for this opportunity then you should have received an English-Spanish confirmation message that is included HERE. If you have not signed up for the Ninth Grade Academy yet please review information HERE in English and HERE in Spanish. Note: this program occurs AFTER Ready for 2025 and it’s expected that all rising ninth graders participate in this program. Any questions during the summer weeks? If you have an incoming sixth grader and have not yet signed them up for the Sixth Grade Academy that will occur August 9-August 12 from 8-12 please do so this week. ALL incoming sixth graders are expected to attend. Details can be found HERE. Note: if you have a new-to-DCIS middle school student who will be in 7th or 8th grade next year they are also invited to attend the program. Any questions during the summer weeks?
