U.S. News & World Report named our school the No. 2 DPS-run school in the district in 2019, and in 2018 we were No. 1, winning the Colorado Succeeds Prize for Transformational Impact in a High School. We are a 2022-23 Whole Child Distinguished School Award and are highlighted as a GREEN school for two years in a row.
All of our students have the opportunity to become proficient in one of six languages and to learn about and experience different cultures. Our unique curriculum enables DCIS to graduate global citizens who are multilingual and interculturally competent.
We are proud of our students’ community-building skills, and of their drive to serve others through taking action for positive change in the world.
