Dear DCIS community,
We are reaching out to let you know about a recent incident that occurred earlier this week. It is incredibly heartbreaking to share that some of our students at DCIS, along with students at West High School, were the targets of racially-based harassment at their volleyball game at Middle Park High School on Tuesday, August 31st.

Our Social-Emotional Support and Culture Team met with students today to offer support in processing their feelings and gathering statements for further action. We will continue to provide the space and resources for our students to express their concerns and know this is deeply felt across so many in our community.
