DCIS has a variety of ways to get involved with sports! Read below to learn about all the different opportunities.

Summer Sports

Denver Public Schools will provide the opportunity for incoming middle school students to participate in clinics geared towards Boys and Girls Swimming and Diving, Boys and Girls Lacrosse, Boys and Girls Tennis, and Boys and Girls Wrestling. These programs listed are hosted by the High School Coaches and are being offered over the summer, as they are not currently a part of the Middle School programming that takes place during the school year.

Middle School Sports

Middle school students have the opportunity to play for DCIS Prep League teams, while high school students can play for any of the DPS high schools.

Visit the Middle School Sports page for more information and sign up links!

West High School (walking distance from DCIS) is a popular choice — DCIS athletes account for about 20 percent of West High School’s rosters — but students may also play for their designated neighborhood high school team or another DPS high school if their sport is not offered at West or their neighborhood school.

Soccer

Our Phoenixes love soccer! You’ll find our students playing on our field throughout the year. We also have many opportunities for competitive school play.
