School administrators and faculty typically use the messaging system in Infinite Campus to communicate with families about important events, reminders, school emergencies and closures, etc. Messages are delivered to your mailbox in Parent Portal and via email, text message and/or telephone, depending on the preferences you elected at registration (which you can change in the Portal).
Some people get confused about what Infinite Campus and Parent/Student Portals are and how they’re related, and it’s easy to understand why! Basically, Infinite Campus is a confidential and secure website that Denver Public Schools and DCIS use to input, update and otherwise manage all student data. Parent Portal is the way each family accesses their own students’ data in Infinite Campus. So essentially, the terms are interchangeable for your purposes. Think of it as the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

The Parent Portal Helpline for all DPS schools is 720-423-3164.
Parent-Principal Coffees, with different morning meeting days for English- and Spanish-speaking parents, take place once a month for about 45 minutes.
These provide a great opportunity to connect with other parents, enjoy some coffee and pastries, and talk with our principal face-to-face about any questions or concerns you have, as well as to hear about what’s going on at the school.
These meetings are all posted on the school calendar and in the school newsletter, so keep an eye out for the dates if you’d like to attend.
