Sam Wilson-Moses is an English Language Arts teacher as well as an advisor for the class of 2021 at DCIS. He finished his master’s in education with a focus on Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education at the University of Colorado–Denver in 2018, and has been working at DCIS since. Originally from Oregon, Sam spent most of his 20s working as a nonprofit organizer for environmental and consumer protection issues before going back to school to become an educator in his 30s. His interests include social justice, his dog Dino, playing ultimate frisbee, hip-hop and country music, cooking, proper hydration, riding bicycles, listening to live music, and enjoying all the other great outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer.
